This Friday, September 30, join Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania at the Amazon Offices for a day of fun with a tour, career talks, and lunch! Teens will also work on one of two different mini-projects:
- Learn to design changes to a website (Amazon’s!) and measure the results of your change. This uses a technique known as A/B testing.
- Learn to add a new skill to Alexa devices, so that you can command them to do something new by using only your voice.
Logistics
- We will leave the Shadyside Clubhouse at 11:30 and return around 3pm.
- The tour will take place at Amazon’s office on the South Side of Pittsburgh.
- This outing is part of KDKA’s STEM Fest and participants will be filmed to be aired on TV. You will need to complete a permission and video release form.
